Neamhaí are beings who hold power over things that are pure, such as healing, protection magics, and light based magics. They are also skilled warriors with a tendency to protect those who are weaker, as they cannot fight for themselves.
Creation
Neamhaí are "born" into the world due to a wish made by some other creature. This wish gives them purpose and the power to complete this purpose. The stronger the wish, the stronger the Neamhaí is.
Aging
At the moment of their creation and throughout their lifespan, the celestials have a mature, unaging body. They age as their power wanes, becoming weaker and weaker until they no longer exist.
Looks
They can be in many shapes, but they tend to lean toward a glowing humanoid with wings. Each level of Neamhaí has a different look. Even if they disguise themselves as human, they will seem more "radiant" when compared to any human.
Society
First Sphere
The first sphere is where the battle angels Neamhaí are placed. They often use their abilities to forward the agenda of their society. Two types of Neamhaí are in this category.
Tanaí
These Neamhaí are strong in attack power, often using their strong fire of light magic to blast enemies into oblivion. They tend to take a more glowing figure with six great wings, though they can take a less glowing form to reduce the pain on other beings eyes who "cannot handle their radiance." They often work closely with the Sciath as they have a low defense.
Sciath
These beings are protectors, skilled in magic used to shield allies or reduce damage to their charges. They most often guard one they find weak and call in a Tanaí to blast their enemy away as they have a poor attack. Sciath take the form of a multiheaded humanoid with four large wings.
Second Sphere
The Second Sphere is responsible for the creation of new Neamhaí and governing of their peers. They are known to be the wisest of their race.
Tiarnas
These Neamhaí do not have much power in either attack or defense. They specialise in tactics and often manage the affairs of the others. They are more solitary, prefering to work rather than socialize with "inferior beings" including other types of Neamhaí. Despite this, they are an essential part of the Neamhaí society as it would not be organized or work as well as it does with them.
They take the form of a beautiful creature with two well-groomed wings.
Fiúntais
As the name suggests, these Neamhaí are embodiments of the virtue they represent. Any actions that do not fall in line with their virtue will physically affect them, causing them to weaken, and can even cause them pain. On the other side, the more they live by the virtue, the stronger they are and the better they feel. Their bodies even take the ideal form for this virtue.
Údaráis
These are Neamhaí who adore battle and have the ability to purify corrupt energy. From the day they are created, they have the ability to wield the first 4 weapons they touch. They tend to wear armour and their weapons and have two wings, both radiant and intimidating to their enemies.
Third Sphere
Neamhaí of this group are the ones who most often interact with other races and act as messangers or liasons to the lesser life forms.
Clóbhuailte
These Neamhaí guide or protect groups and do their best in life. They also can preside over a group of other celestials as administrators or be an assistant to another. They hold unending wisdom and near infinite knowledge.
These Neamhaí are identified by wearing a headdress or holding a sceptre, the source of their knowledge.
Aingil
These Neamhaí are the most interested in the affairs of others. They tend to poke around and report to their superiors. If they feel they can handle it, they will often intervene. Nothing sets these Neamhaí apart from humans except a pair of bright wings. Some will attach to certain individuals to protect them.
